The role also involves promoting data literacy through education and training, managing data-related projects to ensure seamless integration into business processes, and driving continuous improvements in data quality, accessibility, and usability. By staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, the Data Partner enhances the organisation’s data capabilities and overall effectiveness.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, with a master’s degree considered a plus. They will bring 2+ years of experience in a data-centric role, demonstrating a strong ability to partner with business leaders, deliver data-driven insights, and influence decision-making. Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced analytics platforms and languages (e.g., SQL, Python and R Programming) is essential.
Key skills include strong analytical abilities, translating complex data into actionable insights, and excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels. The candidate should have experience in project management, leading cross-functional initiatives, and working independently in fast-paced environments. A proactive and collaborative mindset, combined with a high level of business acumen, is crucial for success in this role.
Desirable qualifications include industry-specific experience (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail), knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and familiarity with data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
