I chose to work with HC-One because the company offered me the opportunity to progress my career within the care sector, while continuing to provide person-centred care in a kind way. I recognised that, at HC-One, each Resident was treated with respect and cared for in a dignified way. I also love the fact I can supporting the team around me to progress and be the best that they can be.

To me, kind care means always treating every single Resident with respect and dignity and to provide care that is tailored to them as an individual.

The best part of my role is making a difference to our Residents’ day to day life and delivering acts of kindness, no matter how small they are. I also enjoy being able to support my Colleagues and help them to develop their skills, knowledge and experience.

After beginning as an apprentice in 2012, I have been supported to grow in my career, enrolling on HC-One's Nursing Associate programme and progressing my skills to become a Deputy Manager. I feel privileged to work for a company that is dedicated to supporting its Colleagues to ultimately help those in our care to live their best life.
